These terms apply when you use ecoco.lk or order from it. The website is run by Ecoco for Living (“we”, “us”), the sole importer of ECOCO products in Sri Lanka. By placing an order you accept these terms, together with our Privacy policy, Returns and refunds and Delivery information.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, No. 9 of 2003, or any other law of Sri Lanka.
Our products
Every piece we sell is a genuine ECOCO product, imported by us. We describe and photograph each piece as accurately as we can, but colours can look slightly different on different screens, and sizes and weights are the maker’s.
Stock on the website is kept up to date. If a piece runs out after you have ordered it, we will contact you and refund anything you have paid for it, or offer you another piece if you prefer.
Prices
Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (Rs). Delivery is added at checkout, where you see the full total before you place your order.
Some payment methods come with a discount on the pieces. The product page and the checkout show the price for each method; delivery is never discounted.
Prices can change, but your order keeps the price shown when you placed it. If a price is plainly wrong because of a mistake, we will tell you before we send anything, and you can cancel the order for a full refund.
Your order
When you place an order you receive an e-mail that confirms we have received it. A person checks every order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example when a piece is out of stock, when we cannot reach the delivery address or when an order looks fraudulent. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
Payment
You can pay with any method shown at checkout:
- Cash on delivery: pay the courier in cash when your order arrives. Please keep the exact amount ready.
- Bank transfer: our account details come with your order confirmation. Please use your order number as the payment reference. We send your order once the payment reaches our account. [To confirm: how many days an unpaid bank-transfer order is held before it is cancelled]
- Card payment, when we offer it: the payment is handled securely by the payment provider.
We will never ask for your card details by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp, and we will never ask you to pay into a different bank account from the one in your order confirmation. If anyone does, please tell us.
Delivery
We deliver anywhere in Sri Lanka, but not outside it. Delivery prices, couriers and store pickup are explained on our Delivery information page. Your order is yours once it has been delivered to you or collected from our store.

Wholesale and bulk orders
Wholesale and bulk prices are quoted by a person. Anything agreed in that quote applies together with these terms.
Your account
You can shop as a guest or with an account. If you make an account, please keep your password private: you are responsible for what is done with it. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms or the law.
Using our website
Please use the website only for lawful purposes, and do not try to disrupt it or gain access to parts of it that are not meant for you. The text and photographs on the website belong to us or to ECOCO, and ECOCO’s name and logo are its trademarks. Please do not copy them for commercial use without permission.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for loss you suffer as a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss caused by using a piece in a way its instructions advise against, or by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms shown when you placed your order are the ones that apply to it. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Sri Lanka.
